Adam knows politics from the ground up, having recruited candidates, walked precincts, and crafted strategies and messages that produce measurable results. In his role at the Tennessee Republican Party, Adam worked with legislative candidates across Tennessee, successfully building majorities to ensure a fiscally sound, business-friendly Tennessee General Assembly. Today, Adam applies those same tactics as he works the halls of the Legislative Plaza in Nashville on behalf of Capitol Resources’ clients, providing exceptional strategic planning, targeted communication with key critical decision-makers, and unparalleled advocacy on a broad spectrum of public policy issues.

Reed Cook

Reed Cook served as the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Tennessee Department of Education prior to joining Capitol Resources. In this role, Cook led the policy and legislative affairs team, playing a pivotal role as liaison between the Governor’s office and the General Assembly. He helped successfully shepherd multiple education legislative priorities as part of Governor Lee’s 2023 legislative package.

Before his role in Tennessee, Cook served as a Professional Staff member on the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee for U.S. Sen. Roger F. Wicker (R-Mississippi). In this position, he managed a diverse legislative portfolio, and helped orchestrate congressional hearings on critical issues facing the telecommunications and technology industry sectors. He graduated from The University of Mississippi in 2014 with a major in Finance.
