John has also built unique knowledge and insight into the workings of government and the intersection of business and politics. He has spearheaded successful public affairs campaigns in some of the country’s largest, most high-profile mergers and acquisitions involving companies such as Sinclair Broadcasting Group-Tribune Media, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Comcast-NBC Universal, Comcast-Time Warner Cable, AT&T-DIRECTV, Charter-Time Warner Cable and AT&T-Time Warner.
John has also worked on several high-profile legislative initiatives in the Georgia legislature, including the Transportation Funding Act (HB 170 in 2015) and the Georgia Space Flight Act (HB 1 in 2017).
